Solar Energy Era Started in Istanbul Factory

TRANSFORMATION IN ENERGY, SUSTAINABILITY IN PRODUCTION

As part of its vision for environmentally friendly production, Penamo has integrated solar energy systems into its production facility in Istanbul. With this investment, 40% of the factory’s energy needs are now provided by renewable sources. The installed panels consist of high-efficiency photovoltaic systems placed on the roofs and are designed to significantly reduce annual carbon emissions.

 

A CLEANER FUTURE WITH POWER FROM THE SUN

One of Penamo's fundamental principles is not only to produce technology, but also to produce this technology in an environmentally friendly manner.

Thanks to this transformation:

• 600 tons of carbon emissions will be prevented annually
• Foreign dependency on electricity will decrease
• Nearly 30% savings will be achieved in energy costs
• This transformation is considered a critical step not only in terms of environmental but also economic sustainability.

 

ENERGY MANAGEMENT WITH DIGITAL MONITORING AND AUTOMATION

The established system works integrated with automatic monitoring and analysis platforms. The amount of energy obtained from solar panels, consumption rate and recycling data can be monitored instantly from digital platforms.

This investment is just one of the steps taken within the scope of Penamo’s long-term green transformation strategy. In the coming period, it is planned to implement environmentally friendly projects such as renewable energy infrastructure and waste management systems in all production facilities.
